- a solid shounen with gutsy characters and gritty themes. however this manhwa pushes the boundaries with its comedic cues and likeable characters. it is not a tedious slowburn that bores the reader by the 20th chapter of no development. it gets to the point and it does it with conviction.
- the shounen ai aspect of this manhwa is undeniable, but it adds to the dynamic of these characters. have any of you read a shounen comic and think, 'wow, these characters would look so good together'?
10/10
- a MINDBLOWING SHOUNEN that does not fail in any aspect. even if you are not an action lover, this story will still succeed to impress and woe you with its characters and the dynamics between them. it is heartwarming to read and keeps you on the edge of your seat. this kind of shounen only comes every few years, so do yourself a favour and READ IT!!!!!

- fans of one punch man who are upset with the lack of saitama's (mc) presence in the latter chapters, read Solo Leveling instead! While there are very few occasions where it does sway away from our MC, the story knows who we are here for! Jinwoo is one of the STRONGEST mcs around, and even the fight scenes are appealing to a non-action fan.
- if you are a fan of God of Highschool, this story tends to veer into a similar path and even exceeds your expectations with its clear cut narrative!
8/10
- while it is not technically a shounen, this manga falls into the category in the latter half of the story. like many other comics on this list, the strong point of this is its lovely cast. our mc is not only op as hell, but is an understated boy with a big heart. not to mention the ever impressive art and aesthetics. the author is committed to the demon style and every panel will visually satisy you.
