A MUST READ, competent FL, political conflict
Main character, Navier, is an intelligent and graceful empress. Her husband, the emperor is shit at his job and has a superiority complex. He brings in a concubine and tries to make her the empress instead despite Navier having spent her whole life dedicated to the empire. SO seeing Navier taking her revenge in the most classy way possible and prioritising herself is satisfying.
A complicated Palace drama full of tension.
