stories where the MC schemes to try and get the ML on the throne are not so very rare in webtoons but i like this one because i think these two have a pretty unique dynamic! This scheming MC isnt just "misunderstood" like shes actually a criminal! and the ML has an actual personality beyond Dark Haired Duke. What really sold me on this tho their conversation in chapter 12 so i hope it keeps up the good writing after that.
literally one of the best stories i have ever read. every arc i go deranged! I think some stories and some readers mistake character development as when the MC just does a complete 180 after like one plot event. when really personal development is always a work in progress and the resolve to be better can be inconsisent until you build up the habit. i think this story does a really good w it tho! like its actually a DEVELOPMENT yk not a one event changes all.
the way i thought this was a comedy from that first chapter.... the joke was truly on me this shit took Everything seriously. its always the pink haired deranged gays...
