the futility in these kind of stories is really interesting to me. its crazy how much you hope for something cliche to happen, only for everything to go downhill without even being made a big deal
I would never, in my right mind, reread this. the revenge was well-deserved but i hadn’t read much stories of such intensity at the time so it took a while for me to finish. honestly think this jump started my affinity for the genre.
think its quite a realistic take of how mental illness works. couldnt help but think of the worst for the ending. thankfully, it didnt end as i had predicted—at least i thought it didnt….
