This is a shounen ai so I don't really think uke and seme applies here. This is also based on a novel so the story I think will be a lot more like a slow burn. So far nothing has really happened yet it's just the 2 main characters coincidentally meeting everywhere. Jiang Cheng seems to be very bitter about life and it has something to do with his family. It seems Gu Fei will become the light in his life and also his new found family.
