Love this. Angsty af. So much drama. The plot is so good, it’s capable of evoking very strong emotions from the reader. Also, ML Sovieshu wins the biggest douchebag in iseshoujo history award.

I like it. Such a fresh story. The romance is subtle here and the focus is definitely on the rich plot. A darker more realistic twist on The Little Mermaid, the FL finds herself in multiple situations where she saves the ML from near-death situations. Despite being his saviour, the ML is unable to reciprocate her feelings. A historical josei romance drama set amidst the backdrop of Japanese annexation of Korea.
