An incredible blend of fantastical magic and myth with a realistic historical setting. A transmigrated girl who can see ghosts and uses power and mysterious compulsion to save a prince with whom she had fond childhood memories. Gorgeous art style.
MC is the half sister of a boy who becomes the emperor. Due to this, she is thrust into high level society even though she has zero interest. ML falls first and their romance occurs sporadically as MC doesn’t always acknowledge him. A story that can give you occasional whiplash as it goes back and forth between being absurd and comical (exaggerated faces and everything) to complicated and serious. Definitely worth a read even if it’s not the best story ever.
DILF alert! Vague Fantasy/Ancient time I think? Daughter goes back in time before he father’s death when she was a child. There’s family politics to navigate as her father is not married and brought her home off the streets, mother unknown. But there is such genuine love and care between the two. MC doesn’t just better he relationship with Dad but also between Dad and Grandpa. Ch.23 and great so far!
MC is a regressor who had devoted her whole life to a scum dude who only used her and threw her away after murdering his half brother prince, achieving the throne, and marrying MC’s green tea bitch type half sister. MC vows not to waste her life for her useless family or her former one sided love. Illegitimate daughter of a cardinal and religion plays a role in this story (think Borgia I guess) and the clothing style seems relatively consistent which is nice.
The story is pretty standard and sweet, an illegitimate daughter and the falsely accused duke form a beautiful romance, fighting politics, trash royals and family to be together. MC is a mix of naive and keenly observant, ML is blushing in love very quickly. Humanoid dragons also play a role. But it’s a little weird that the full perspective drawings make everyone look child size.
What extremes would you go to to escape from an endless cycle of death in a time loop? Our MC has been driven to extremes (TW suicide/murder) to finally meet her true ending without repeating the same year. The story starts on her 117th loop, and she decides to try murder as a new variable. Fascinating character study as she navigates her changing relation, intrigue between family/rivals/love interests as to who knows the truth, and nice art.
So in the tried and true formula…Priscilla is a naive girl who is manipulated by her stepmother and power hungry arranged married husband. She is forced to leave her beloved home and wander the world. When she goes back in time to before many of the misfortunes occurred she claims her inheritance and her magic, and a handsome knight as her husband along the way! Sweet couple, satisfying revenge, and the beginning of magi-political ramifications.
MC’s world suddenly shifts to one of a shoujo story & a comprehensive backstory to match. All of a sudden she has a perfect FL as her neighbor and best friend and “four heavenly kings” at her school and ALL the clichés. She forms tight knit bonds but constantly feels like an outsider in this shoujo world.
