hedonistic/shameless mcs that don't cross into cruel immorality but rather just the vague asshole genre

(ch18) some dude named danny rec'd me to read this and MMM MMM MMM this story and characters are SO good like danny u deserve 2 get ur ass ate. zomgan is not rlly a shameless/hedonistic character and is just kinda an asshole out of being insensitive and emotionally unavailable as an undead being, which is already 2/3rds of the qualifications u need to be on this list . since MC lacks empathy but tries to be good out of obligation/rules, he's kinda too ambiguously good to be on this

(mild romance but mostly action) only ch15 so everything's an assumption- i'm not entirely sure of even the MC's backstory. but FL is an unhinged product of determining if sociopathy is a nature vs nurture outcome- existential crises do that to you. she's consistently on her last nerve and it'll snap faster than every capillary in her eye the moment smth slightly inconveniences her. and i think MC mightve had a hedonistic/problematic past in spite of his current righteous character.

it's hilarious bc he's also a really good dude and is actually emotionally stable. like unlike most mcs on this list he is a simple good dude who has no longterm and irreversible emotional trauma that dunked his entire moral compass into a clogged gas station toilet. he just has zero social restraints and is like a five-year-old who will share his favorite toy with you at the sandpit, but also can and will bury you in it if you look at him the wrong way simply because he thinks it's funny.

(ch41) no romance. guys this is TOO good. you don't understand. a heavily girl-orientated cast with a super meta girl MC? like MC BEFORE all the shit hit the fan was already off her rocker like her morality was essentially bankrupt from the start; girl's moral code was doomed to fail and it's SO funny but eerie to read

man just admitted he loved crushing peoples' egos by having them beg for help after they've wronged him. forget power tripping, he's galloping through the poppy fields. LOVE that he actually LOOKS like a shady mfer. he don't got those doe eyes he looks like a fucking snake and acts like one too. like dont get me wrong i love some jungcookass rep but ive been called chinkier than the chainlink fences during recess for my whole elementary school life so hes my kpop idol.

for the past 3 years i could never quite figure out why i was convinced he belonged on this list despite not fitting these personality traits. he's not shameless, hedonistic, or an asshole, but he FEELS like one. and i just figured out why: he's a gymrat. gymrats are the fucking raccoons wearing everything outta the donation pile of MC traits compiled in the corner of this goddamn list. MC speaks, talks, and ACTS like a gymbro, and those motherfuckers deserve the worst of this world.
