ML is insecure about his own commoner/mixed-blood origins. He's good at making $ so noble house adopted him. FL is a royalty used by her own brother. Her family, in-laws and her husband are all shit. FL finally suicides, finds herself waking up in ML body.
The chemistry should improve from here, right? NO. FUCKER KEEPS DISAPPOINTING.

Little Mermaid Story, but our FL is the person who was mistaken for Ariel and married to prince bc he saw FL as his savior. She was happily in love, but when it got exposed that she wasn't the one who saved him, the as*hole starts ignoring FL. The 5 year marriage was full of anguish and tears, FL decided it was enough and decided to suicide.But she turned back time. And this time she vows she won't fall in love.

10/10 ex is not ML

Toxicity level here's higher than chernobyl. ML *SOLD* FL to slavery because "he can't be distracted from his goals". Later regrets when he finds FL and decides he wants to make it up to her, even at the cost of the country he's ruling. FL was like no FUCK YOU, bye. But she's conflicted bout her own feelings. :)

9/10 Just as a warning, you'll get the urge to throw your phone at a wall. Will give u cancer along the way.

Mixed opinions on this one. The ML regrets, but idk if you'd call him trash cuz his shitty actions are justified (?questionable, but his justifications is that *he did it for FL in good faith*)

Abandoned empress turns back in time, decides to never cross paths with the emperor. Picked up a few subMLs along the journey only to end up with the same fucking asshole who killed her.

Some readers will argue till their face go blue that *the emperor wasn't as fault, he was also manipulated, he hasn't committed crime this life* blhblah— listen, I DON'T CARE. The romance is shit. Imagine getting back together with your abuser.
