i actually did quite like the way the story utilized the fairy tale aspects. i thought that the way they were implemented together made them seem well meshed and the stories didn't seem to clash too much. i do have some issues with the whole thing going on with the mc and the "male lead" though. like it was very weird how the ml was a kid she pretty much helped raised and is now in love with her romantically??? like um :/. wouldn't really recommend it tbh.
updated review: i liked this one, however after having kept up with it for a while, i pretty much grew out of love for it imo. i accidentally came across spoilers for who the ml would be and i was just incredibly disappointed. i tried to keep reading it but they were making it blatantly obvious who it was. the characters were also going slightly downhill for me too and i couldn't really like the fl as much as i used to. it's fine but would i recommend it now? not really.
honestly, i had no idea what was happening when i was reading this . the way they structured the story was very different than what i was used to and i had a hard time understanding the story. it does have a lot going on and it's great that they actually have some substance but it feels a bit all over the place. i did end up kinda dropping it after the first 10+ chapters but i might pick it up again if i have time.
wow...i fell in love with this one tbh LMAO. the mc is so interesting and with each chapter, i keep getting invested. the other characters are also pretty good and interesting enough that i'd be curious about their back stories (even if they're side characters). i definitely recommend this one!
i honestly didn't think i'd get so invested in this one but i ended up really liking it. the mc is pretty funny sometimes and i like her personality. the male lead is also very funny at times and kind of cute lmao. my bi heart is definitely happy ngl. some parts of the plot definitely confused me (like the family tree, wtf is happening in that) but overall it's mostly minor. i liked this one and would most definitely recommend!
it was interesting at first but ngl, after years of dropping it out of boredom and reevaluating the story, it's not really that good? idk what it was but there were parts of the story that i didn't see back then that were pretty questionable and some of the writing choices were strange. it's been a long time since i last read this but i will say that it hasn't aged quite well. if you like it, good for you, but personally it's not really for me :/
at first i was a little hesitant on reading this but i really liked the idea that i just decided why not. i love the fact that this isn't just a one person point of view story either. it focuses on both main characters and i really liked that aspect. the moments between certain characters are super funny sometimes and the shared scenes with the fl and ml are so cute. i highly recommend this one tbh.
updated review: don’t read this one. i was pretty ignorant when i first read this and found it to be interesting when it really shouldn't be. it's got a lot of double standards as well as shit that really just does not fly with me. there's also the controversy with the artist who made this manhwa that i won't explain here since it's a lot but tldr: don't read this one.
this honestly has to be a personal fav of mine. i love the fact that we have a family dynamic that's really supportive and healthy towards the mc. as well, the characters are likable and don't feel automatically too flat. the plot is also pretty interesting and i'm very intrigued by it tbh. overall, highly recommend this one!!!
