Edit: This story is one of my favorites bc I have a love hate relationship with it. I love Nina as a main character but I hate everyone else. It reminds me of “ The Abandoned Empress” but tamer and better in a way. There’s an actual moral story in this that’s complex and I love thinking and talking abt it. I hope they adapt the side stories of the novel bc it delves much deeper into it. I do wish that the story was longer bc it feels rushed

(IT RESETED MY REVIEWWW, Remake ver.) Personally, I don’t like the ML very much. Yes he had a cursed childhood and is/was in a toxic relationship, but that shouldn’t/doesn’t make me like him. Maybe pity, but not like. I quite like it when the Empress hurts him with her words though. It’s just something about it (revenge and karma) that bubbles up in me with wicked enjoyment.

Otome game hard mode. I love Vinter. He’s my favorite although he’ll bring back the OGheroine. And I hate Penelope’s family. I hate them QUITE a BIT. Holy shit did I want to strangle them so many times
Edit: I want to correct, Callisto is my favorite. I like Vinter for his aesthetic. Callisto is fucking best boy and you can’t change my mind. Also, Derrick can die in a DITCH. Fucking bitch ass hoe. Grown and yet his brain hasn’t developed since 4. Only Reynold and the Duke developed positively

Now when I say family bad, I mean absolutely DOG SHIT. UNREDEEMABLE. DESERVES TO BURN AT THE STAKE. Her poor mother thinking that her husband and sons will treat her beloved daughter well after her death. I’m so glad Char cuts off all familial ties :)
Although, I must say, I am so frustrated with Char. A little communication and relying on him (ML) won’t hurt. She clearly loves him but is way too obsessed with revenge to ever need his help. Poor Dylan
