The premise is great, the art, not so much. There's different gender and sexual identities and actual weight to their decisions and how being teen soldiers have affected them. In addition to how their childhood abuse have affected them. My only gripe is the art, it really does to take away.
Fuck, this needs a thousand trigger warnings. TRIGGER WARNING: She was gang-raped over and over again in her previous life. She is a princess who sacrificed everything so her brother can survive and she's doing the same in this life. A god comes to her rescue but he's got a lot of hang ups from his previous lover.
It's so slow and she's too op. People are just falling over each other to be near her. I've realized the difference between the op-ish protagonists who succeed and the ones that don't is completely dependent on charisma. If they don't have enough charisma it comes off as contrite.
I'm not okay with how much she is sexualized and preyed on. She literally has to throw herself at ML so she can survive. The medieval zombie premise would interesting otherwise, but no thanks. Not for me.
An assassin is hired to play a ditzy concubine to root out traitors. There's not much beyond that. I thought it was pretty funny, but basically nothing happens towards completing her job because she's busy trying to get the emperor's own spies off her back. Spoilers: The ML is not the Emperor, but Yugi. Honestly I knew people would be obsessed with him when he appeared, but didn't think he was ML because she only got development with the emperor until ch. 26.
A sheep-hybrid gets found by 5 handsome men to heal them. It was kind of cute and interesting until I realized it's 100% a harem which I am just not about.
I've been spoiled by subversive fantasy manhwa, that this just isn't going to cut it. She's a beautiful villager who sells strawberries. Of course, she catches the eye of a foreigner warrior by insisting he pay the correct amount and that she won't accept his generosity. He's a brute. She likes his friend(?). Couldn't get through two chapters.
I stopped reading webtoons for a while because of this novel. She lives in a demonic fantasy world as a virgin succubus(?) and wrote a smutty fanfic staring the demon lord. He tried to sue her, but I think they got cursed so that they need to make everything in that book actual happen.
The art quite frankly is bad. It's not the worst, but it's inconsistent and that makes it worse than if it was just a bad art style. The plot is confusing as well. She's the 5 year old human daughter of an actual demon Duke and she just dropped out of the sky (I can't even tell how old she was when she got dropped)? He provided for her and she was cool with it until she read a book that she dies at 10 and his dad adopts another daughter. It's just nonsensical.
