Iconic BL. I began following it in late 2015, and it's been a wild ride ever since. I've never stopped checking for updates, and would visit the translator's page twice a month. I was obsessed with this story and these characters back then, and the same can be said today. Do yourself a favor and read it!
Despite everyone jumping on the He Tian/Mo ship right off the bat, I am actually more charmed and touched by the Jian Yi/Zhang Zheng Xi pair.

This story goes on to show that writing a good romance isn't gender dependent. A beautiful romance is one which evocates feelings of joy and giddiness in a reader, and I believe anyone can fall for a well written romance irrespective of whether it's LGBTQ or heterosexual. This is one of those stories that make you feel happy just for existing on this planet to admire the cuteness of these characters and their interactions. A villainess story where the titular character actually deserves her moniker/nickname. She was a villainess in her past life, a lady of great cunning and deceit. She worked for ones she wrongly perceived as dear and near to her, and they ended up stabbing her in the back. The moment she meets death at their hands, she goes back in time before everything took a turn for the worst. Do read this! This FL is amazing.
This was such a fun read! It's pretty empowering AND satisfying to see her accomplish great medical feats, surprising the misogynists in the process. I remember binging this and being happy about having a lot of chapters to read. FL is bubbly and cute, and totally fits the bill of a caring doctor. In her past life, she was a famous surgeon in Korea. With all of her past knowledge, she is now able to achieve great medical feats in the medieval era!
I have no words for this story. It's amazing. Iconic. Unbeatable. The characters and their depth...I wouldn't have expected it from these kinds of webtoons. I thought it was your standard medieval webtoon, but oh boy, I was so wrong.
Your heart will go out to unexpected people, is what I have to say. Amazing. Just go read it. Please.
