I prefer to focus on a list of upbeat anime & manga that nail the sports-themed storylines & skip the rest. Searching for Free! & Haikyuu! manga can be a bit tricky since you keep running into those dj tags, yk? So that's why this list is for all the anime fans out there, myself included, who dig the sports & their original content (I'm not bothered by the fanmade stuff, tbh). I want to save time to dive back into my favorite sports manga & anime.
The anime series (1998) is about a female baseball team. Keiko Himuro, Chairman of the Kisuragi School, puts together an all-girls baseball team led by Ryo Hayakawa, daughter of a legendary pitcher, in hopes of proving that girls can compete just as well as boys. I love it
