Let me just say that this bl has my favourite type of dynamics, both have strong personalities due to which there is a lot banter, their developing relationship is grounded and quiet in a way that really hurts in a good way. The MC is truly fantastic and incredibly likeable. The other MC is so shamelessly himself, it's beautiful. The characters have a ton of depth and there is a strong non romance plot that is genuinely intriguing. The dialogue is very well done as well. 9/10
It's infuriatingly close to be being perfect instead it just ends up being pretty good. The protagonist is extremely good, likeable and with a lot personality and strength of character. The biggest problem is the love interest who is straight up creepy with his behaviour but not to the point where I had to drop the bl. That's the problem honestly, it skates too close to that line. The side characters are great and the second couple was excellent and not disruptive to the story. A solid
The author really knows how to write a good protagonist. All the main characters have a ton of depth. The romance in this is so stripped back and sincere in its openness, it was soul affirming to read. There are some problems with the main villain being given way too much leeway but told through the lense of the MC, I found it very believable. Their final interaction felt perfect. Quite remarkable 8/10.
Looking very good. Quite a refreshing take on the supernatural genre. Pleasantly surprised at how well the characters are developing and the relationship dynamic as well. Both leads are very likeable and the plot is engaging. Hopeful that it maintains this quality and develops the story well. 8/10
The cover art is quite misleading, both the art and plot is much nicer than the cover indicates. A well put together story with a very compelling MC, it's very much his story. Not to give too much away but I was very moved by his arc, very relatable and real. The other lead is quite good, side characters are great. The plot is compelling, especially so in the second half. Genuinely enjoyable and touching. 8/10
