She finally escaped her toxic family situation only to transmigrate into an otome game on hard mode. The situation she's in mirrors her real life relationship with her own family. However, the stakes are higher because any mistakes means she will die. Honestly the end of the first season had me in tears. The way she's been misunderstood and abused, but still wanted to be loved is heartbreaking. (No incest, as in she doesn't end up with either of her adoptive brothers.)
It's similar to other villainess webtoons, but the gender is flipped. So instead of navigating high society, it's him trying to stay alive, by collecting skills and favors from the ML from the original novel. He's suppose to be lazy and focused on surviving, but most of the time he gets involved with things he doesn't want to because he's actually pretty soft hearted.
I don't think this is rebirth or time travel. Just a emotionally and physically abused MC (she has a stutter). She and her husband are forced to marry by her father. She believes that her husband hates her because the ML went to war in her father's stead. But he's actually deeply in love with her, but really incapable of communicating. Later on they get pulled apart a lot by external forces and there's quite a bit of angst. (Spoilers from the novel.)
Starts off with a very interesting premise. Kind of falls apart in the end. Basically she activated a magic circle before she was killed by the ML. It causes him to have another persona who is deeply in love with the MC. They got married and the magic started fading. She thinks he's going to kill her if it does completely so she tries to figure out how to recast the magic. He ends up falling in love with her genuinely but there's a lot of other mysteries like her origins.
In some ways this is similar to Miss Not-so-Sidekick. She is reborn into what she assumes to be a novel, and decides she'll utilize her previous life to excell in this life only to be traumatized. To cope she turns to apathy (depression), neglecting her family that loves her dearly. When she gets engaged to a man that seems to involved with a transmigrated FL she tries her best to get in and get out. However, he's actually just a clueless guy. The supposed FL is not interested.
Best sibling relationship I've read in a long time. She transmigrates into her sister's novel as the older sister of the character she wanted to kill off. He's a brat, and she decides she should sleep with a side character to peace out. (Seeing as she has no wealth or political ability to protect her brother or herself.) She accidently sleeps with the ML instead. He falls in love, she falls in stress. She decides to start building her own power to protect her brother and herself.
MC is severely abused by her father and pressured into becoming queen. Her 'friend' ends up being chosen as queen instead causing her father to punish her and resulting in the death of (essentially) her adoptive mother. She ends up switching places with her 'friend' only to save her and discover the prince has been manipulating them all. She is badass and won't take it lying down. Super dark, lots of intrigue.
She and ML have always been at odds with each other because of her loyalty to her home, despite being kindred spirits. He kills her, and she is sent back in time. She decides this time she will use her sword for him. Unbeknownst to her, he has also been brought back. The way they navigate their misunderstandings is cute. They're both basically sword geeks.
Her home falls to ruin because of her stepmother and she is forced to marry a man that already has a wife and child. (Trigger Warning: She may have been forced to consent. I honestly can't remember.) She later becomes a mage and travels as a mercenary(?) before getting sent back in time. She decides this time she will marry someone from her previous life, sidestepping her stepmother and becoming the count herself. She accumulates power while she and her husband fall in love.
It's tagged as Harem, but it's not really. The Emperor is a very pure boy who immaturely forced his childhood babysitter (low key) to marry him. She's okay with it cause it sucks to be a women and this way she lives well. The MC is sporty and thirsty. She transmigrates into the Empress who has been neglected cause he's too wrapped up in his babysitter, who talks up the Empress. Anyway, the MC is kind of trying to survive and get back, but she's also simping for his face.
