Honestly my current favorite. She is reborn as a small villainess in a novel, where she realizes her baby sister will die in child birth. (This has the best sibling relationships, they're all hilarious.) Only for her sister's husband to fall in love with someone else. So when the ML comes around, MC is uber against the engagement. Of course, ML proposes to MC instead. MC decides they'll have a contract marriage and she can wait it out. Except he's fallen for her.
She is reborn into a novel into a family of legit villains. They kill, they torture, they commit countless crimes and those who don't are killed. She has been forced to adapt to this household to survive and so she has the power to protect her mother. She knows that their demise is attached to the FL's older brother's death. Her family has kidnapped him and she is the only one who can help him escape. (TW: Violent)
The first of it's genre (Korean Martial Webtoon + Transmigration + FL) or at least a rare one. Usually they're Wuxia and not Murim or the MC is a man. It's all the tropes of distancing herself from her former life, breaking free from manipulations and building a life for her own, all with the twist of being from the Martial world. (Also she is not related to the ML)
MC transmigrates into a small villainess in a martial fantasy novel. Only she is actually abused by her mother and ignored by her father. ML who had been abducted by MC's father to be his successor and resents MC along with her family, discovers this and only tells her father when she almost dies. Her father kills her mother and she becomes the spoiled young lady of the demonic sect. MC just wants to save them all. So cute.
MC emotionally abandoned her son for 18 years and dies. However, she regretted her treatment towards him before her death. She wakes up 3 years before and wants to create a better relationship with him. While her action unforgivable, entering her marriage she was led to believe that her husband didn't love her. She suffered from depression during pregnancy and after. And while she was intelligent, her husband family didn't trust her. She lashed out by resenting her son.
MC transmigrates into a novel, as the unfavored fiance of the crown prince. Instead he and all the male leads are in love with the heroine maid. MC only cares about returning home to her family. Too bad the mechanics of this world will not let her do so. She has tried to kill herself many times to return and characters can see that she has the soul of an outsider. (It's not actually harem.) Also TW: Implied suicide and mental health issues.
She was married off to a dying man so she could be used as a placeholder until his oldest son could come to age. She does so, protecting them in all the ways she can as a 16 year old, but only perceived resentment in return.
She time travels back after her death and because she has both knowledge of the future and the maturity of an adult she is able to forge better relationships with her step-children, all while uncovering the political mechanisms that led to her death and finding new love.
She was a queen who is reborn hundreds of years later with her memories intact. Excelling both in swordsmanship and academia, she volunteers herself to marry a 'beast' (and give birth) in her sister's place so their home doesn't fall to ruins. There's no beastiality, though I guess there could have been. And the mystery of the ML's curse seems related to her original life as a queen. (Trigger Warning: It's implied that she and another character has been raped.)
She transmigrated as the scorned fiance of one of the MLs. MC is hilarious and badass. She recognizes that all the MLs after the original FL are utter trash and ends up a little (un)intentionally reforming them. The original FL likes her more than her suitors. She doesn't end up with any of the original MLs, even when they have repented.
MC is a demon (demon king's daughter) who gets asked to get revenge for a princess's death in the princess's body as her first summon. She forgets to take her soul, but has to do it anyway. She starts fighting back against the Queen, but also messes around to experience human culture. Along the way she and ML fall in love over swords. It's got 'Beware of the Villainess' energy.
