Rain is a powerful symbol within Bleach. Within many stories, rain represents sadness which is true of its use in Bleach as well, but there's more than that. Rain can be seen as a foreshadowing form of Ichigo's growth. At his lowest points as a character, we see rain. When his mother dies. When Byakuya leaves him to die and steals Rukia. When Ginjo steals his fullbring powers. Rain is always present when he's faced with the immenseness of reality of not being able to protect, or lacking strength
