Character development doesn’t mean needing to change the entire character into a different person. It means just that. Development and progression in a character. Senpai being violent is fundamentally who he is. That’s not going to change or go away completely. You’re asking him to become a different character in order for you to think he has developed as a person. When you’re overlooking the fact he
- at the beginning of the manga would never let one person know about their relationship or admit it himself. Now he says it’s fine if everyone found out about them
- would NEVER have been on top and ridden Morinaga at the beginning, would never even consent to sex, and now not only has ridden him also has initiated sex (him blushing and saying Morinaga has a fever when he was visiting him was him inviting him for sex and also that time after the fire when he said Morinaga was hard was also senpais way of inviting him for sex)
- was forced at the start, wouldn’t even admit to bend sex friends because acknowledging they were having sex was so shameful to him and now has admitted time and time again he has sex with Morinaga because he WANTS to and because he cares for him. You say he gives into it as if it’s something only Morinaga wants and senpai gives it to him just to please Morinaga. And you’re completely disregarding rhat senpai has SAID he wouldn’t have sex with Morinaga if HE didn’t want to as well. The sex is something enjoyed between the two of them. It isn’t just Morinaga.
Senpai HAS progressed as a person and a character. You’re just too blind to see it or arent able to recognise any sort of story telling unless it’s yelled directly into your face.
