Heil can't read the minds of those he cares about..that means lovers AND friends...but his telepathy works on everyone right? River is an empath, sensing everyone's emotions. He loves his sister dearly but he can still feel all of her emotions yet he cannot sense Heil's feelings. (At this time he should only have feelings of friendship for Heil, unless he thinks Heil abandoned him back when he was murdered.) Theories anyone?
Does River's power not work on gods? Was Heil feeling too many things at once that River couldn't keep up somehow? Can Heil block off his emotions from others subconsciously?
