Wasn't it the neighbour?
I mean, the neighbour killed Seungbae's dad with the club, right?
he said the neighbor had done it but it seems like pieces are missing from his story.. he said it was his neighbor, but the police couldnt even find the killer so the neighbor wasnt even charged. seungbae went to take it bad then it cut to the murder scene. i feel like there is a lot of missing parts and that seungbae is hiding something..
Seungbae got mad at his dad for giving away the golf club and not asking for it back. From Seungbae's recount I'm guessing the argument was pretty bad. I get the impression Seungbae had a close relationship with his dad and the golf club was meaningful to both Seungbae and his dad. Seungbae's dad, feeling guilty after the argument, may have confronted his neighbor and asked him to return the golf club. From there things escalated and the neighbor killed Seungbae's dad. Knowing Seungbae, there was probably no real evidence that the neighbor killed his dad. Only a strong hunch.
Looking back at this page http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/killing_stalking/mf/c011/14/
You see that Seungbae's dad died with his phone just out it his reach.
A similar picture is in this chapter http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/killing_stalking/mf/c034/21/
From that alone I'm pretty sure Seungbae was talking about his father's murder.
No. Thats the rumour around seungbae where he drags police chief rank down/demoted to another area. The rumour where seungbae hurts an innocent civilian because he thought that man is the actual criminal, he didnt have warrant for that and they identified the real criminal later. Its the scene where he used the golf to hit the old man.. I wonder why i dont see another reader connecting the dot tho.. (Thats what transfered seungbae to that department i think.. ) But the chief, chief kwak seems to be still in favor of him in the last pages of ch 34, so maybe its another twist or he believed in seungbae.
I don't know if I'm understanding what you're saying. Sorry, if I misunderstood something.
Chapter 11 explained why Seungbae was demoted but the scene I linked in my previous comment was about Seungbae's father's death. Seungbae never hit anyone with the golf club. The death of Seungbae's father and his demotion are two separate events. It wasn't until the death of his father that he became motivated to be a police officer. That's also why Seungbae lacks trust in his colleague's skills and is so determined to solve things himself.
I'm guessing here, Chief Kwak might have saw potential in Seungbae when he first started and thus favored him. Being strong-willed isn't necessarily a bad attribute but it is problematic when he disregards his superiors. I think Cheif Kwak gave Seungbae a lot of passes for his behavior in the past(I doubt his stubbornness began after he was demoted). It was nice of the chief to just give him a demotion, it would have been justified to fire him instead.
I don't know if Seungbae will get off for this so easily. Seungbae broke in without a warrant, held and questioned two "innocent" men, injured/tasered one, indirectly harmed the other, made a scene in a police branch he was not authorized to be at, and ignored the calls of his superior. All the details around what Seungbae did to get demoted haven't been given but this seems worse.
theres a lot to wrap a head around, but it also makes me think.. i watch a lot of real crime tv and fiction crime shows, and i think i remember hearing if you obtain evidence without warrent or under the suspicion (like extreme suspision only FBI are allowed to use) and go into someone elses house and even if they are guilty, it is against the law, and the muerder can go free because police did not follow protocall. sangwoo seems like he knows the legal system. if he did confess, the charges will be thrown, but if seungbae and the other cop are just playing yoon bum, he will be so drowned in the thought of putting sangwoo first he wouldnt confess or fall for the trick the poilice are trying to get him to fall into. i adore bad guy winning senarios so much, it drags out seasons and stroies out for so long (like hannibal, i feel as if hannibal and sangwoo are a like and will and yoon bum are a like too, i suggest that show to anyone who loves KS)
I think its related, its a scene consequence play,, its a thriller mystery that youll mostly see in this genre, idk if anyone noticed too, at first chapters, when they said sangwoo's parent's got killed they didnt mention it was only the mother, why did koogi did that? Its for confusing us on whether sangwoo is a senseless psychopath but We know later on sangwoo's hints that he drove with his mother to hide his father's body which makes the mother as an accomplice (if anyone discover that, ceo daughter + sangwoo's dad? Thats cased solved) that means sangwoo is not that psychopath and we'll sure see next season what was the story behind that, the brooding story at the back is still not predicted. this manhwa is not that simple. this manga is mystery, sometimes im getting frustated when commenters takes things literally, or didnt see what was the events pieced together. Makes me thinks the general readers are really younger ones.. Koogi is a genius, drawings on point too, this manga is super good but they only see it as "thats a murderer, jail him now" -.- its like they only read it to despise the characters.. This is a really good manhwa..
i feel!! i get so pissed seeing people look at this work of art at face value. like its so much more than "AAAA GO TO JAIL!!" it is an unwinding story full of suspense and hard to guess senarios. this isnt a gay love story, and it makes me roll my eyes when i see people saying it is making abuse a fetish. like no?? IT IS A DEEP ASS STORY with a horror situation unwravelling on the point of views of the people in the manhwa. it isnt meant to be a hot sexy story of two gay men. just because it has some gay scenes and feelings doesnt make it a fetish porn, glorifying every single thing that happens. its a thriller. koogi is so talented. its so hard to guess right on what will happen next and i really admire that. she hasnt made it borning, and i doubt she ever will. i always assumed sangwoo's father had killed his mother and he then killed his dad.. but i hope we really get to see what happened. sangwoo seemed to love his mom. and doesnt want to end up like his dad. (too late) IM A FISH CAUGHT ON A BAITED HOOK with koogi's work.
Preach ┗( T﹏T )┛ i agree on all things youve said,, but i noticed the readers who are fan of the greatness of the manhwa were not commenting.. They probably dont like the hassle of arguing with some fans.. And most topics go down in drain fast because of the cliche plain comments of jailing.. There isnt a time to focus and discuss the plot yea. Im glad to found a comrade! ~ koogi's work is really good and i love this killingstalking manhwa..
Btw At first i thought
Killing= sangwoo
Stalking= bum (i wanna see it swap lol)
but maybe it is
Killing= sangwoo and bum
Stalking= seungbae
its the best thing to come out in a long time. thirllers are so so hard to find especially when they are this good.. seungbae as the stalker would be so cool. because bum really only stalked a couple people but it isnt a huge part of the plot. well, finding himself in sangwoo's house yes, but seungbae stalks more in the main plots now, so that would make sense. but at the end of the chapter when Lee (i think thats his name) was saying "its too late he already killed hsi parents" i wonder how he got that, since there was no eveidence for the longest time.
Yea ikr, seungbae and lee only knows the incident about ji eun and they suspects sangwoo based on what seungbae formulated, he didnt have evidence at all, if thats the case, sangwoo would be in jail long time ago. Seungbae's instinct tho, we know its the truth xD. That chief kwak who got demoted because of seungbae, i think he's the one who gave the idea to seungbae, he might be pinning sangwoo down too from past cases
WAIIIITT did seungbae kill someone? with the club? what?
