The story overall was honestly really amazing. I completely understand others perspectives of not being able to forgive their Rapist, and I wouldn't either. If I'm honest, it didn't seem like the main couple forgive him all that much either, but they accepted the fact that he's grown as a person, and the circumstances that led to that situation. Obviously Rape is unforgivable, and I will not excuse it, however we need to remind ourselves of the societal structure that was build in the world's version of Omegaverse, alot of times it reflects our own society and it more "over exaggerated" way (or as exaggerated as it can be in our current era sadly) I hate the second couple's Alpha alot for what he did, but I did grow really proud of how much he's grown, he obviously regrets what he did (albeit coming to the realization after falling in love) but that doesn't make his actions inexcusable. It was though, because of those actions that it make him realize how much of life he's wasting away when he has someone he actually loves infront of him, and idk, that's kinda beautiful lowkey.
The first couple it beautiful and I'm so glad how much their relationship has grown, ofc it started due to rape with is again inexcusable, but there was something deeper that made them work, a cause and effect typa thing. I honestly could explain more but I'm sleepy and I don't think anyone is gonna read this.
But I love how diverse omegaverse is, and this was honestly one of the more realistic potrails of ABO that I've ever seen. It's heartbreaking, it's sad, but worst of all it's realistic. And I think that's the worst part of it all.
