idc i love this to bits, i've reread it so many times over the years

honestly regarding the romance and stuff it didn't feel that painstakingly, it was acc sweet and they bond rlly cutely, i forgot how fun ren acc is like he isn't bland at all surprisingly, and kyoko is the besttt. like this is real slowburn and they actually feel like they're falling in love, like all older shoujo, especially because people forget that kyoko's main story is being an actress and the romance is secondary to that -- which she states outright!! they both basically confessed but also what to hold off until they achieve their goals,,,,, that's sooooo cool of them.

hmm that said my only complaint is i acc prefer the old artstyle, dorito proportions aside I acc liked it lol, it was still pretty, just old-school, and I feel it was way more effective at displaying the emotions -- like it made the drama and emotion of it all work when it otherwise woulda been embarassing

i love the cain heel siblings arc. ren letting himself act so close to her and then the bed scene in chapter 181… kyaaa
cannot believe i read this in like 2015-2016 and then reread to catch up in 2025. it’s so good tho…. the drama is just so messy sometimes, the characters are funny, really appreciate that these characters are very understandable to me with their feelings

Been reading this since I was literally a child and I still love it today and rereading opens my mind in ways I don’t expect

officially dropped. i tried rereading until ch60 but got frustrated and jumped the the latest chap and noticed the progression in tech. from flipphones to smartphones. this is where i draw the line. it simply reflects the author’s aim to make the story more of a slice of life and no specific timeline.

i used to enjoy this HS but ofc 10 years later i know better and is uncomfy with the age gap. i tried rereading in the name of closure. to the ren who gave me butterflies in HS. but it seems there isn’t much progress.

I initially loved this manga. Watched the anime and wanted more but can you believe this manga has been ongoing for 10+ years and there’s still no relationship between the ML and FL?! I’m only giving this 2 stars because the start was so good had such good development. ALSO it only updates 1 lousy chapter per month. I usually let this manga marinate for a year or two and try to binge it but then I get so bored and drop it. The only reason why it’s still in my “reading” list is because I’ve invested so many years to this manga. All I want is for the author to get these two characters together then I can finally wipe my hands of it and die happy.
